| Abstract: | Traditionally, Pt prepared by hydrolysis was used as the counter electrode of dye-sensitized solar cells. But the hydrolysis requires a high-temperature process, so that it is not suitable for flexible substrates like plastics. In addition, noble Pt remarkably increases the cost of dye-sensitized solar cells. Here, we report three types of nanostuctured materials as the counter electrode of dye-sensitized solar cells, including nanostrutured Pt by polyol reduction of Pt precursors, nanocomposites and nanotube films. |
