| Abstract: | This project idea is the implementation of a complete and general system for the realization of nanodevices based on nanogaps (small gaps in a gold wire) exploited with a feedback controlled circuit. The system, built starting from this nanostructures up to user interfaces and experiment management, wants to give to researchers the opportunity to work on their specific application and to have an already prepared working base, ready to be customized for the specific design needs. Nanogaps are useful for biomolecular application, biomolecular detection, biomolecular electronics and circuits, fabrication of Metal-Molecule-Metal junction. The realization of nanogaps structures give several possibilities of processes applicable to the construction of devices, but also to their employment as a tool for molecular analysis or other measures. |
