Dean, Stanley Mr. Dean received a double major in Chemist and Physics. He worked about 8 years in various chemistry jobs with Beaunit Fibers making rayon and as a Chief Chemist for National Cement Company. During this time I secured a US Patent for the counter-current decantation of cement flue dust to obtain pure Potassium Sulfate. After working in the technical field, he wanted to become a Pharmaceutical representative. However, with no previous sales experience, he couldn't get a job offer. To get the sales experience he became a State Farm Insurance Agent. His plan was to do this for maybe 6 months and then get with a pharmaceutical company...that was 40 years ago.
